Work with data
Data tables
Store data between executions in tables managed by Triggerflow.
Data tables store data that lasts between executions: a list of customers you've already greeted, stock levels, a queue of tasks, settings. They live in Triggerflow, so there's no database to set up.
Create a table
Go to Overview → Data tables and create a table, then add columns. You can also let the Data table node create the table when it first inserts a row.
The Data table node
| Operation | What it does |
|---|---|
| Insert | Add a row per item |
| Get | Read rows, optionally filtered |
| Update | Change rows that match a condition |
| Upsert | Update the matching row, or insert it if there's none |
| Delete | Remove rows that match a condition |
Map each column to a value with an expression, for example {{ $json.phone }}.
Examples
- Remember who you've talked to: before replying, Get rows where
phoneequals the sender; if none, greet them and Insert. - Keep a running total: Upsert by
date, adding today's amount. - Log payments: the mobile money template inserts each paid order.
